Children's Fitness: Martial Arts, Russian Kettlebells and Body Weight Training
Taekwondo Master and KIWK Kettlebell Instructor Lonnie Beck uses the vertical jump and the Russian Kettlebell Swing to teach Children's Fitness to some of his Pee Wee and Junior Martial Arts Students. He also teaches them Body Weight Training like head stands and hand stands so that they can learn and maintain balance, posture, upper body strength, core strength and most importantly body awareness. Martial Arts training at the Dragon Gym is not only about learning skills, self-defense and building confidence. It is also a great way for students and children to learn how to be fit and active for a lifetime.
